How to handle it? Easy. Don't do it. It's very nervy and frankly, ignorant, for adults to ask other adults for a loan. I have been stupid enough to do it in the past, twice, and it was well over twenty years ago. It didn't end well and all but ruined a friendship. I just say my money, my liquid anyhow, is tied up in money market accounts - which isn't a lie, but in reality, no one asks me for money anymore. Mature people don't do that type of thing, and if you find yourself around people who do, leave the "group".

well due diligence goes towards the house...unless thieves in my case the sellers lie about he house representation. ( disclosures) .. they had termites and damage of termites i never put money down on a inspection or even offer if they had said this .... sellers can be scum and agents don't care to this date i lost about 5000 on dif deals.. most of these house are scams they know it major issues and the first one will walk away i gogin to sue them they did not disclose they had termites and damage because of... it is a latent defect they call it a person with cash that kind of cash would never be so stupid as to pay the asking price when the appraisal came out much lower so...

Set a target date that you want to have the car paid off by do a rough estimate of the APR then divided by however many months that you want to have the car paid off. That’s the amount you pay every month until it’s paid off. Make the minimum payment and add the extra payment directly to the principal.
